CHRISTMAS FAMILIES: ‘Tis the season for Christmas baskets and Turkey Bucks. We have families for our Christmas Outreach. Each church will have one family and the trees with their wish list ornaments will be up in Holy Nativity and Christ the King this weekend. Please read the Guidelines carefully and sign the Choices list so we know who has each recipient. If you prefer to donate with cash or checks, we will use that for gift cards for each family. ALSO, if you don’t use the Turkey Bucks from Econofoods, please donate them by putting them in the envelope attached to the tree. Deadline for bringing in gifts is Sunday, December 16th. Questions? Please contact Kate Wulle-Dugan at 708-819-1959 or katewulledugan@gmail.com

LESSONS AND CAROLS: Sunday, December 2nd-4 PM Holy Nativity. The Angical tradition of performing the festival of Nine Lessons and Carols during the season of Advent dates back to 1880. This year we’ll continue the tradition in collaboration with members of St. Luke’s parish, so please mark your calendars to attend this lovely event. Cooks and bakers are needed. There will be a sign-up sheet in the back of both churches.

LOAVES & FISHES: Calling all bakers!  Loaves and Fishes has asked us to provide desserts for the meal on Friday, December 7.  We need 6-7 individuals to provide a dessert for between 24-30 diners. The meal is served at the Sturgeon Bay NWTC campus.  To sign up, contact  Pat Commons at CTK or Mary Boston at HN.

CAP PANTRY: CAP Pantry needs reflect the weather–chili beans, canned tomatoes, hot cereal, jelly and soups.  There is a continued need for toothbrushes. They appreciate and use any donation to the pantry.  For those wishing to donate money, the check should be made out to Door County CAP Pantry, this assures that the money goes to buy food and not infrastructure needs.  Amy and Sandi again thanked us for our continued support.

NPR INTERVIEW: Bishop Michael Curry was interviewed this week on NPR’s IA program.  Here is the link to listen Bishop Michael Curry Wants Us To Love Radically – 1A
FEEDBACK FOR VESTRY: Everyone is invited to inform any member of the Vestry about any issue or idea relevant to our church. The next Vestry meeting is scheduled for 9:00am on December 19th at Christ the King.
