Future Events in our Parish:

PHONE COVERAGE FOR OFFICE will be limited until a new secretary is hired. Please have patience if it takes a day or so to get a call back. For emergencies, please call Fr. Olin at home (823-2239).

RUMMAGE SALE: Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Christ the King in Sturgeon Bay.

  • Please begin accumulating any items you wish to donate (no clothes please), for drop off at CTK on August 12; think about volunteering;
  • Each Sunday after services at CTK (approx. 11:00 am), come for about an hour to help organize the books that have been donated;
  • Flyers are in the back of each church – kindly take a few to distribute around.
  • Call Patsy Stierna (743-4759) if you have questions.

LOAVES & FISHES DESSERTS: A big thank you to all the volunteer bakers: Mary Boston, Pat Commons, Barb Graul, Morag Hornsby, Mary Koski, Linda Schopf, Karen Steinke, Wendy Walker, and Gail Ziemer. A reminder that the baked goods should be at NWTC before 3:00 on July 28. No nuts please. If need be, make arrangements with Barb Graul to deliver them for you.

FEEDBACK FOR BISHOP’S COMMITTEE: Everyone is invited to inform any member of the Bishop’s Committee about any issue or idea relevant to our church. There is room on the agenda for the monthly meeting for any member to speak. In addition, the committee is holding a retreat in the autumn to discuss our mission and planning for the future. Please do not hesitate to let the Bishop’s Committee know your thoughts.

SERVICE BULLETINS: Please make sure you look at the service bulletins that are distributed each week. We use various Eucharistic Prayers (A, B, C, D, Rite I) and there will be some minor changes in responses or wording of prayers.

NEW CHURCH DIRECTORIES are in the back of the church. There have been some changes since November, so please feel free to pick one up.

CAP PANTRY & THE DIGNITY PROJECT: Current needs include peanut butter, tuna fish, feminine products, and toothpaste (Pick ’n Save often has tubes for $1). Toothbrushes are not needed at this time. Thank you all for participating in this outreach project.

ECONO RECEIPTS should be put in the baskets provided at the back of the church, not in the Collection Plate. Thanks!

TRANSPORTATION NEEDS: Door to Door provides affordable handicap accessible rides. Contact: Door-Tran Office 920-743-9999.
