THANK YOU: Heartfelt thanks to Connie Sletto for making our lovely new red altar paraments and vestments. They are beautifully designed, and made of the liturgical blood red used by Episcopalians to signify the passion of Christ on Palm Sunday and other designated Holy Days in the Church year. We are grateful to Fr. Olin and Connie for providing these, and especially to Connie for sharing her gift of craftsmanship with us.
RECTORY BEDDING:Our rectory bedrooms are almost ready for guests! Would you like to be a part of this ministry of welcoming guests from our diocese? The bedding has already been purchased, but we would like to reimburse the budget for the costs. The total cost of linens for one bed is about $125; we have six beds: (Mattress pad: $25, Sheets: $20, Blanket: $20, Pillow: $5, Pillow Protector: $5, Coverlet: $40, Towels: $10). If you would like to make a donation of any amount to this effort, please make your check out to Christ the King/Holy Nativity and put “Rectory Bedding” on the memo line. Thank you!

CAP FOOD PANTRY: Do you ever wonder who uses CAP pantry?  Well, because our church faithfully supports the pantry, Sandi and Amy thought we would like to see the 2017 statistics. In 2017 the pantry served 5,006 individuals.
Of those 5,006 individuals 1,114 were elderly and 1, 247 were children. They also had 140 new families that registered in 2017.  Eligibility is income based using federal guidelines.
While looking over the shelves peanut butter, tuna and oatmeal are in short supply. Thank you for your continued support of this important outreach ministry!
